Diane Bouwer
With 30 years of experience in the salon industry, Diane is extremely talented in all realms of the salon and spa experience. Training includes a minimum of two regional salon training forums per year, twice attending the Redken International Symposium in Las Vegas, Esthetics training at the Bioelements™ Skin Institute in Chicago. There are also numerous advanced training courses in salon, covering the areas of at home maintenance of hair and skin, coloring and cutting. Her desire is to help others grow and provide the ultimate salon and spa experience.
Quinn Gilbert
A graduate of the Careerline Tech Center with continuing courses at Excel Academy of Hair in the Redken Specialist Program. Quinn loves to “unveil the beauty women forget they possess”. Areas of specialty for Quinn include but are not limited to special occasion hair, spa services for the hands and feet, as well as her joy in coloring hair. A huge proponent of continuing to grow and learn in the salon industry, Quinn attends regional advanced classes.
Alissa Riemersma
A very talented hair designer, graduating from Excel Academy of Cosmetology. Alissa chose to further her talents through Profiles By Design's Associate Program. This 9 month course developed by KRS Summit Salon College, is a hands-on mentorship program. It is designed to develop a designers talents to their fullest capacity through the advanced training of guest relations, product knowledge, color, cutting, styling, texturizing, finishing, as well as spa nail services. Also attending salon forums and extensive in salon education, Alissa excels at providing top notch service to all her guests.
Coby Holt
Coby is a graduate of Chic University of Cosmetology and a graduate of Profiles By Design's Associate program. Her magnetic personality and passion for fashion fuel her creativity in hair design and color. A true artist with flair for creating beauty, she is talented at designing shapes and colors to enhance a person's personality. She continues her education both in the salon and out, through courses and bi-annual salon forums.
Jesse Almanza
Jesse is a graduate of Lou Rog School of Hair design and a former salon owner himself. An attendee of Redken's International Salon Symposium in Las Vegas, he possesses an eye for design and a creative edge with both male and female clients. A multi-talented artist, his artistic abilities make him a wonderful colorist as well as designer.
Melissa Overkamp
Melissa is a graduate of the Careerline Tech Center, with continuing education through Excel Academy of Cosmetology. She has chosen to pursue excellence in hair design and color. Attending Redken's International Salon Symposium in Las Vegas twice, as well as a three-time graduate of the Redken Exchange Academy for advanced color and hair design in New York City . Her passion for education, art, and superior service fuel her desire to continue to grow herself and others. In salon education as well as regional and national education further her ability to do this. Melissa is also a Redken Certified Haircolorist - a level reached only by passing an exam that requires exceptional technical skills, advanced knowledge of all Redken haircolor products and master understanding of color formulation and correction. She is one of 22 specialists in the state of Michigan. Melissa provides top notch service and guarantees exceptional color results.
Linda Koning
Linda is well known by guests of Profiles By Design for her accommodating nature and desire to serve and please. Her caring personality and professional attention to detail enable the reception desk of Profiles By Design to operate efficiently.
Holly Huizinga
Holly is a graduate of Excel Academies of Cosmetology and graduate of our associate program at Profiles By Design. Her enthusiasm for beauty and the salon industry have shown through as she completed her education in advanced training as a part of our team. Growing and learning advanced techniques at Profiles has given her a priceless foundation for providing excellent service. Holly is a talented hair designer as well as an integral part of our spa team, particularly enjoying the aspects of natural nail services and Bio-Elements skin care, as well as Mirabella Cosmetics. She is quickly earning a glowing reputation as a skin care specialist through her knowledgeable and relaxing facial services.
Brittany Young
Brittany is a graduate of Excel Academies of Cosmetology as well as a graduate of the KRS associate program at Profiles By Design. She has a caring personality and a strong desire to grow and provide the highest level of service possible. She is trained to provide services both in the salon and spa and is known for her fastidious attention to detail particularly in the areas of manicures, pedicures and body waxing. Brittany enjoys taking time to pamper our guests and see them through from start to finish in the salon/spa. Her increasing knowledge in skin care and cosmetic application ensure you’ll walk out the door glowing!
Brittany Nicole Gruppen
Brittany Nicole is a graduate of the first class of the Grand Rapids branch of Douglas J. Aveda School Of Hair Design. The attention she received in a smaller class for cosmetology school has made her a quick study in Profiles By Design’s associate program. While her schooling was in Aveda, she has embraced Redken fully and rapidly. A wonderful work ethic, quick smile and caring, fun nature enhance your experience with Brittany Nicole serving you. Pedicures are one of her clams to fame as well as her fantastic scalp massage. Currently half way through her associate program, she is well versed in many areas of service at Profiles and eagerly looking forward to being a graduate of our program.
Kalee VerStrate
Kalee is a recent graduate of Excel Academies of Cosmetology and the proud recipient of the Michael K. Maly Award for Top Retail Sales in th History of the Grand Rapids Campus. This award demonstrates her desire to serve guests in a manner that is duplicable at home. Extensive knowledge in Redken's at home hair care plan is required to have achieved this award. She is currently growing her knowledge in the art of Cosmetology through Profiles Advanced training KRS Associate program, mentoring with Diane. Her pleasant demeanor and desire to serve others makes her a valuable asset to our team.
Jamie Isanhart
Currently a student of Excel Academies of Cosmetology, Jamie is working part time at the front desk at Profiles as a Part of our Support Staff. Jamie chose to leave a job in corporate America to pursue her interest in the profession of Cosmetology. If you have been to our store while Jamie is working, you are sure not to forget her. Her pleasant disposition and eagerness to accommodate our guests schedules make her a huge asset to our team. We are anxiously anticipating her completion of schooling and licensure to welcome her on in a new role as an associate then salon/spa service provider.
Chelsey DeVries
Chelsey is a graduate of Spring Renewal Massage School. She particularly enjoys helping our guests relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of life in our spa. While she fully believes in the physically therapeutic benefits of Massage Therapy, she also fully acknowledges and appreciates the aspect of mental relaxation associated with massage. Chelsey will fully consult with you regarding your goals for your sessions and strive to help you achieve the desired result: be it relief from muscle pain associated with stress or injury or a mini-mental vacation.
